Kanal, Inc. is a technologically innovative holding company that is managed by its founder Gaurrav Kanal, and Chris Bartholomew. Both team members are 2002 graduates of Cornell University, located in Ithaca, NY.
Gaurrav Kanal is President and CEO of Kanal, Inc., serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kanal, Inc., and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Cornell University’s College of Engineering (Ithaca, NY), with specializations in Artificial Intelligence and Business Administration.
Gaurrav is a technologist turned entrepreneur, having converted several of his projects and ideas into Web companies that are now held by Kanal, Inc. He was responsible for designing and managing the technological framework behind Kanal, Inc.’s Internet properties. He is now focused on growing Kanal, Inc. into a globally recognized “best brand”. Gaurrav formerly took up a part-time role of Teaching Assistant at Cornell University, teaching courses in “Web Design and Development” and “Discrete Mathematics”.
Chris Bartholomew is a Member of the Board of Directors of Kanal, Inc., and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Cornell University’s College of Engineering (Ithaca, NY).
Chris is a technological innovator with professional experience in software and web design and development. Chris serves as Chief Information Officer for iCIMS, a web-based recruiting company based in Hazlet, NJ. He was instrumental in developing the technical foundation of iCIMS and is the visionary behind new hiring management solutions and the development of new product lines. Chris has been honored by Human Capital Magazine with the 2005 “Future Human Resource Leaders” award.
The goal of the management team at Kanal, Inc. is to expand its position on the Web, while establishing a reputable brand that signifies excellence in Internet-based business functions.
